Today we spent the day in St. Joseph, Missouri which is about 30 min. north of Kansas City. As you drive into the city it appears very run down & deteriorated. However, St. Joseph is home to over 33 historical museums which is a lot of history that we could not even fit into one day. Here is our very brief synopsis.

Very fascinating to see original restored guns.
We received a personal private tour at the military museum. The gentleman gave us a behind the scenes tour of some of the military machinery that is on permanent loan from the army.
